Roy Foster, PhD

Roy Foster, PhD, is the Team Lead of the Medical Treatment Guidelines for the Colorado Division of Workers’ Compensation. Roy started her career as a sociolinguist, then transitioned to speech-language pathology with a passion for functional, patient-centered treatment. With a background in research, clinical practice, healthcare program development and adult education, Roy has focused her energy on bridging research with practice. She has been with the Guidelines unit since 2016. Roy brings to the Division a drive to improve implementation of evidence-based medicine and integration of care.
