Mark Tapy is the senior talent management manager at Pinnacol Assurance in Denver, CO. In this capacity he oversees work based learning and talent development systems and strategies aimed at pipelining and developing skilled talent for the in-demand staffing needs of the organization. Prior to his current role, he served for 5 years as the apprenticeship program manager at Pinnacol where he collaborated with local schools, internal stakeholders, policymakers and non-profit intermediaries to successfully launch one of the largest youth apprenticeship sites in the state. Throughout his career and studies at the University of Colorado at Boulder, Mark has developed a passion for helping prepare for and successfully enter meaningful employment and workforce opportunities. In 2020, Mark was honored as one of the Denver Business Journal’s 40 under 40 award recipients for his work in education and workforce development.
