Dr. Robert Wallach is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R), and Level 2 certified. As a physiatrist, his goal is to enhance and restore function, reduce pain and increase quality of life for people with problems relating to the spine, muscles, nerves and joints. Dr. Wallach graduated from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, then completed residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in 2004, and remained on active duty in the US Army until 2008. He has worked in Orthopedic/spine groups and currently has a solo private practice, La Plata Physical Medicine, in Durango, CO. Dr. Wallach’s expertise includes electrodiagnostic medicine (EMG/nerve conduction studies) and image guided spine and joint injections.
